DeNovix was recently sued by Thermo Fisher for patent infringement. The complaint was filed in U.S. federal district court in Massachusetts on November 21, 2016, but has not yet been served on our company. The complaint alleges our DS-11 spectrophotometer infringes two of its patents, namely, U.S. Patent Nos. 6,628,382 and 6,809,826. These patents were obtained and sold by NanoDrop Technologies to Thermo Fisher nearly 9 years ago.

DeNovix takes intellectual property rights very seriously and is confident that its products do not infringe any valid claims of the asserted patents. DeNovix is aggressively evaluating this matter with the hope of resolving it quickly.
