New CellDrop Model and Applications
The new CellDrop FLi launch includes enhanced hardware for improved cell counting performance, along with six new cell counting applications including fixed samples, hepatocytes and Erythrosin B.
The Most Innovative Cell Counter Just Got Even Better
Introducing the CellDrop FLi, our newest CellDrop Automated Cell Counter model. This upgrade is rich with both hardware and software updates, enabling simple, accurate measurements of an even wider range of sample types.
- Six New Cell Counting Applications
- Next Generation LED Technology
- Increased GFP Performance
Count Cells Without Slides: DirectPipette™ Technology
CellDrop’s patented design replaces hemocytometers and plastic slides with an innovative wipe clean, variable height chamber.
Load Cell Suspension into Sample Chamber
Count, Analyze & Wipe Clean in Seconds
Features
- Fast, reliable workflow
- Use as little as 2.5 µL of sample
- Two permanent, optical grade sapphire surfaces
- Sample is held in place by surface tension
- Three software-selectable chamber heights enable:
- Widest dynamic range: 7 x 102 – 2.5 x 107 cells/mL
- Cell size range: 4 – 400 µm
Slide Mode
Single-Use Plastic Slides: for hazardous samples or workflows that require sample containment
Reusable Slides: environmentally-friendly alternative to plastic slides when sample containment is required
Six New Counting Applications
Hepatocytes
The Hepatocytes app uses a machine-learning developed algorithm, along with AO/PI, to deliver simple, reliable hepatocyte counts. The algorithm uses brightfield and dual channel fluorescence to count live & dead hepatocytes as well as identify lymphocytes, free nuclei, and debris objects within a sample.
Fixed Samples: Cells and Nuclei
The Fixed Cells PI and Fixed Nuclei PI apps use red fluorescence to capture images of fixed cells / nuclei. PI is a cell & nuclei permeable nucleic acid dye that will permeate the membrane of dead cells and isolated nuclei.
Erythrosin B: Tissue Culture, Primary Cells, and Nuclei
Erythrosin B is a biosafe and non-toxic colorimetric dye that can be used as an alternative to Trypan Blue for cell counting and viability assessment. These three new apps are pre-configured for counting Tissue Culture, Primary Cells, and Nuclei with Erythrosin B.
